Open House Jam @FHS

We were able to work with the Fairfax High School Robotics team in order to have a table at the Open House. From this, we displayed their 2022-2023 season robot and gained interest from over 15 future lions who were interested in joining their FTC team. We hope to see you all soon at our first meeting!

'Unite & Excite' Tailgate @FHS
|
We represented the Fairfax High School robotics team at Fairfax High School's Unite & Excite Tailgate. From this event, we were able to demonstrate their robot from last season to over 200 students. We also got a chance to meet the superintendent of Fairfax City who will work with us to start the new teams this year!

Back to School Night @FHS
|
We worked with the Fairfax High School Robotics team at the FHS Back to School Night in order to promote the robotics club and our volunteer opportunities. From this event, we received interest from, many students who were interested in joining the robotics team and volunteering with FFY!

Pyramid Night @FHS
|
We actively introduced the FIRST Lego League programs to Elementary School students who are on the path to join Fairfax High School in the near future. During this event, we used field elements from the previous FTC season, PowerPlay. With this setup, we provided students with the exciting opportunity to operate the Fairfax Roarbotics robot, enabling them to score cones. Additionally, we showcased the Xtreme Voltage PowerPlay robot, offering a detailed demonstration of its various attachments and functionalities. As a result of this event, we engaged with over 200 students and piqued the interest of over 15 students and parents from nearby Elementary Schools.
